Terms of use
Last updated 19 August 2026
These terms cover using Wasl. They describe how the platform actually behaves — the approval gates, the nomination route, and the limits of what Wasl is responsible for once you are hired.
Who operates Wasl
Wasl is operated by Dhya Association for Visual Disability, a non-profit licensed under number 1146 and registered with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector, based in Abha, Asir. Contact: ceo@dhya.org.sa — 0581155291.
What Wasl does, and what it does not
Wasl connects job seekers with disabilities to employers by two routes: you apply to an opportunity yourself, or the Wasl team nominates you for one. Wasl is an introduction platform. It is not an employer, not a party to your employment contract, and does not guarantee that you will be hired, interviewed, or contacted. It cannot promise an employer that anyone will accept a role or remain in it.
Your account
One person, one account. You must be legally able to enter an employment contract in Saudi Arabia, and the information you enter must be true — your identity, your qualifications, your certificates and, for employers, your company details. Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access. Accounts are for people and companies in Saudi Arabia; the regions, cities and disability categories the platform uses are Saudi ones.
If you are looking for work
Your profile is sent as it stands at the moment you apply. Keep it accurate; a certificate you do not hold is not an advantage, it is a reason an offer is withdrawn later. You may withdraw an application at any time. Editing your profile changes what future applications carry, never one an employer has already received. You are never charged. Wasl is free for job seekers at every stage.
If you are hiring
Your company must be approved before it can act, and every opportunity must be approved before any seeker can see it. Both gates carry a reason back to you when the answer is no. Materially editing an approved opportunity returns it to review, so an old approval never covers new content. Describe the role honestly — title, duties, qualifications, location, hours, salary and benefits — and state which access needs the role and workplace can support, without unlawful discrimination between candidates. Candidate data may be used to evaluate that candidate for that hiring decision and for nothing else. You may not share it with any third party. These obligations are also written into the agreement you sign with the association. If you hire someone, the employment contract is yours, in your name, under your supervision and responsibility.
Nominations
The Wasl team may put a seeker's profile in front of an employer for a suitable opportunity without the seeker having applied to it, and without asking first. A nomination is an introduction, not a commitment: the seeker may confirm interest or withdraw, and the employer is never obliged to hire anyone.
Identity and privacy
An employer sees a candidate's skills, location, certificates and accommodation needs. Name, phone and email are released only when the employer accepts that candidate. This is enforced in the database. How data is collected, used and deleted is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not enter false information, impersonate anyone, or create more than one account. Do not use another person's data, collect or scrape data from the platform, or approach a candidate in order to avoid the platform's role. Do not post an opportunity that does not exist, and do not use Wasl to harass anyone or to discriminate unlawfully. We may deactivate an account that breaks these terms or puts other people's data at risk. Where it is fair to do so, we will say why.
Availability and changes
The platform is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and features may change as the product develops. We will not remove something you depend on without saying so in the product.
Ending your use
You can delete your account from your settings at any time, and doing so removes your profile, applications, nominations, notifications, support conversations and uploaded files. Two things remain: the audit record of actions the Wasl team took, so oversight stays possible, and decisions an employer had already made before you left.
Responsibility
Wasl is responsible for running the platform described here. It is not responsible for an employer's hiring decision, for the terms or conduct of a job you take, for wages, or for any labour dispute between an employee and an employer — it is not a party to that relationship. Nothing here removes a right you have under Saudi law.
Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute is heard by the competent Saudi courts. The Arabic version of these terms is the authoritative one; the English is a translation for convenience.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the product rather than quietly replacing the page. The date at the top is when they last changed. Continuing to use Wasl after a change means you accept it.
